What The Pearl Hall is

The Pearl Hall is the smallest of three halls at Veloria Grand. It is a fully air-conditioned banquet room with a 24-foot ceiling, a small permanent stage, dimmable LED lighting, and a serving line that does not cut into the guest area. The room is shaped to feel premium at 60 guests and full at 100 — neither echoing-empty nor visibly cramped at either end of the band.

It is built for the kind of event where the host knows almost every guest by name. Ring ceremonies and cocktail evenings work best here because the round-table layout keeps both families in conversation distance. Baby showers, kitty parties and intimate birthdays use the same room with a smaller buffet line and more open floor for mingling.

Pearl is roughly 1,800 sq ft of clear floor with a small permanent stage. It supports four standard layouts.

Banquet (round tables)

Round tables of 8 with full plate service or buffet flow on one side. Comfortable for 60–90 guests with the stage and dance floor preserved.

Cluster (lounge / cocktail)

High-top tables and low lounge clusters across the room with a bar at one end. Best for 70–100 guests in a stand-and-mingle format with a live counter.

Theatre (ceremony only)

Forward-facing rows of chairs facing the stage. Used for the ceremony portion of a ring or naming function before transitioning to dining. Capacity up to 110.

Banquet + dance floor

Fewer round tables (50–70 guests seated) with a 200 sq ft cleared dance floor in front of the stage. The standard cocktail-evening configuration.

Vendor & food policy

The published rules for outside vendors, catering, alcohol and add-ons. We keep this short and written, so the booking desk and the host are reading the same page.

Outside decorators

Allowed at no entry fee. The decorator is welcome from 4 hours before the event start. Helium balloons, confetti and glitter need a quick approval call so AC duct cleaning is included in the package — not because we want to restrict them.

Outside cake & ring platter

Allowed at no fee. Cake-cutting table, knife and plating are included in the standard inclusions. Ring platters from outside designers are welcome — we plate and hand them up at the right moment in the ceremony.

In-house catering

The Pearl Hall runs on in-house catering: ₹500/plate vegetarian, ₹650/plate non-vegetarian, plus 5% GST. Jain, Jain-no-onion-garlic, halal and pure-veg menus on request at the time of booking. Live counters (chaat, pasta, dessert, grill) are priced per counter.

Alcohol, generator & parking

BYOB allowed with no corkage. The bar setup, bartender and basic mixers can be added on request. Generator backup is included in the rate, not billed separately. 60+ car parking on-site, with valet on weekend evening slots.

Yes — Veloria Grand has 60+ on-site car parking shared across the property. Hosa Road Metro Station on the Yellow Line is a 3-minute walk, which makes elderly guests and out-of-town family travel easy from Electronic City, Silk Board or central Bangalore.

The standard booking is a 4-hour slot, which covers setup, the event itself and teardown. Shorter ceremony-only slots can be discussed for weekday morning bookings — call the booking desk to confirm based on the day and the format of the event.

A 30% advance confirms the date. The balance is due on the event day after the final headcount is locked. Cancellations more than 30 days from the event are refunded in full minus 5% processing; closer dates follow a sliding scale that the booking desk shares in writing before any payment is taken.

Music can run at full volume until 10 PM in line with Bangalore noise regulations, then continues at a reduced indoor level. The Pearl Hall is fully enclosed and air-conditioned, so the indoor sound is well contained — most cocktail evenings here run comfortably until 11 PM, with the DJ set finishing slightly earlier.
